The new macbook 2020 i7 laptop is the first to offer quad-core processors as well as 16GB RAM. It also comes with a small price tag. The refresh finally gives the MacBook Air a boost after years of being stuck with underwhelming specs.
The MacBook Air's tenth generation Intel Core i5/i7 processors run up to 20 per cent faster than their predecessors. These chips have a faster clock speed, more threads, higher boost frequencies, and better performance.
Although the i5 processor can handle CPU-intensive tasks like video editing well, it is still slightly behind models like Dell XPS 13 that are the same price. This won't cause any problems for most users. However, most people won't notice any difference in their MacBook Airs' performance if they are only using them for short, single-core tasks.

Battery Life
Its long-lasting battery makes it one of the most popular work-from home laptops. Apple claims that the MacBook Air will be able to run for up to 11 hours web activity and 12 hours video playback. Although it wasn't perfect, our tests showed that it was still more efficient than many Windows machines with the same price.
Display
Although the Apple display in the MacBook Air doesn’t have the P3-wide Color Support it has on the Macbook Pro it’s still a good enough display for everyday usage. Although it has a lower brightness than the MacBook Pro's (400 Nits vs.500 Nits), the display is bright enough for most situations.
Keyboard
The MacBook Air has the Magic Keyboard. This keyboard is vastly improved over the last year's butterfly keyboard. Although there are some issues with the keyboard, the new layout is a significant improvement over the old Airs' clunky arrow keys.
The keyboard on the Air is still cramped compared to larger MacBook Pros. Some reconfigured arrow keys also need some practice. The Air's keyboard is more user-friendly than most Mac laptops on the market. It's also a great option for those who want a small, portable Mac that won't break your budget.

Powerup
The macbook 2020 i7 is equipped with Catalina, the latest version MacOS. This is a major change from iTunes-based OS X, which was available on every Apple laptop before 2018. It's easier to use macOS applications and iTunes is no longer a sidebar. This means Apple's music, podcasts and TV services can all be accessed from one app. It is a wonderful idea.
2020 MacBook Air features an i7 processor with a base frequency of 1.1 GHz. It can boost to 3.5 GHz if needed, but it can also drop to 1.33 GHz if not necessary. It is paired with 8GB RAM, a 512GB PCIe SSD, which should meet most people's requirements.
