Honda's Odyssey is a fantastic choice for minivan buyers. The Odyssey offers spacious interiors and plenty of cargo space. It also provides a comfortable ride. It is also among the most secure in its class. In fact, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave Odyssey the Top Safety Pick Plus rating.
The Honda Odyssey comes in four trims: EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. Higher trims add features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. For most buyers, however the Odyssey models of lower price are more than sufficient.
The Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower. It pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Although it might not be the fastest, it is fast enough to keep pace with highway traffic. The Odyssey's combined mileage is 22 mpg.
Honda has two new transmissions in the Odyssey's range. A lower model comes standard with a nine speed transmission. An upper model can get a tenspeed. Both are available with the Sport grade. Black leather seats with contrast stitching and dark exterior accents are included in the Sport model. 19-inch alloy wheels are also available. Rear-seat entertainment screens will also be available with integrated streaming apps.

The Odyssey Sport and Touring trims offer more space than the Touring trims. They also include the Magic Slide second row seat. The slide-forward seat allows easy access to the third and fourth rows. Remote start and power-sliding rear door are also included.
The Honda Odyssey interior is spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It's equipped with a plethora of sensors. That includes blind-spot and lane-departure warning, a rear cross-traffic warning system, and active lane control. Smart storage areas are provided in the doors, consoles and on the seats.
Despite its compact size, the Odyssey provides an ample amount of legroom for its eight-passenger seating. As an added bonus, it's also very low to the ground. The Honda Odyssey has two inches more legroom back than the Chrysler Pacifica.
Honda's Sensing package can also be found on the Odyssey. This package includes adaptive cruise control, active lane control and forward collision warning with automated braking. HondaLink is also available for higher-trim model models.
The 2023 Honda Odyssey also features USB ports, a free scheduled maintenance plan, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a complimentary schedule maintenance plan. The LX model was discontinued. But, the Odysseys line has now added a Sport version.

The design of the Odyssey is a mix of modern and classic. Although the interior isn't quite as sleek as some other minivans, it's still well-designed.
Honda offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty for the Odyssey. These warranties do not differ from those of most competitors. The warranty can be extended to an additional eight years, or for unlimited miles.
The Honda Odyssey is a great choice for families. It is safe, quiet, and provides plenty of storage space. However, some drivers might find it a bit boring.
